Two HEIDENHAIN linear scales are installed on press brake which constantly monitors the ram position with micron level accuracy. These scales are mounted on a special bracket which are completely isolated from any deformation caused to the C-frame structure during the ram upstroke/downstroke and the load. In effect, it always gives the precise and actual position of the ram under any condition.
Many other makers of press brakes install the scales directly on the C-frame which results in errors in the real position of the ram.
The working table is composed by 3 parts, among which the middle part is the main working table, and the other two are used for hydraulic crowning throught the lower working table.
The pressure for the hydraulic crowning is set automatically, after the length and thickness of the sheet, to be bent has beeen programmed into the Controller. The triple robust steel plates that are assembled like a "sandwich", work with hydraulic crowning system - ensures an even bending angle across the entire length of the bend.
